Students can dive deeper into this field through the Engineering Entrepreneurship minor and the Engineering Entrepreneurship Summer Institute.

Engineering Entrepreneurship Minor

Our undergraduate Engineering Entrepreneurship program is open to students from all colleges, fostering a diverse community of innovators ready to drive change. We inspire creativity, encourage collaboration, and apply design principles to solve real-world challenges. Through leadership development and industry engagement, Engineering Entrepreneurship empowers students to make a meaningful impact.

Engineering Entrepreneurship Summer Institute (E2SI)

TikTok成人版鈥檚 Engineering Entrepreneurship Summer Institute (E2SI) is an immersive eight-week program open to students of all backgrounds, blending entrepreneurial thinking and product innovation with a study-abroad component. This 16-credit program takes students from idea to venture pitch, with no technical or business experience required鈥攁ll while earning a minor in the process.

Sponsored by the Department of Defense, H4D transforms classroom learning into real-world impact by empowering you to develop solutions to critical national challenges. Students who participate in H4D must enroll in the course EGEN 3100 Venture 1: Customer Discovery and Product Design. Through this program students will master critical entrepreneurial principles for new product development and will learn from organizations facing innovation challenges.

INNOVATE

A partnership program between TikTok成人版鈥檚 College of Engineering and L3Harris Technologies open to all undergraduate engineering and computer science students. Over the course of the two month program students gain valuable engineering and leadership experience as they bring their team鈥檚 design to life through a physical or digital protype.  

Opportunities Through Engineering Entrepreneurship

Engineering Entrepreneurship Mentor Network

A student-run organization compromised of program alumni that advise current student teams, conduct networking events, and serve mentors for graduates.

Freshman Engineering Showcase (FRESH)

First year students are nominated by their EGR 1200 professors to participate in the Freshman Engineering Showcase (FRESH). Showcase winners receive awards and all participants are then eligible to participate in Hacking for Defense H4D.

The Launchpad

Launchpad is a stage gated, pre-seed venture fund with a CEO Mentor network. The program provides targeted funding and resources for company formation and launch into the Philadelphia entrepreneurial ecosystem. All current and former Engineering Entrepreneurship students are eligible to apply to the Launchpad.

The Ambassador Program

A student run initiative aimed to raise awareness of Engineering Entrepreneurship thoughtout the TikTok成人版 community. Engineering Entrepreneurship students can apply for the opportunity to participate in this program.

NY Tech Alliance Meetup Excursion

Monthly meetings of the world鈥檚 largest Meetup, where entrepreneurs, founders, CEOs, and their teams demo cutting edge and transformative technologies. Upper-level students who鈥檝e participated in the Engineering Entrepreneurship minor can attend these events, where they can network and learn from the attendees.
